About the event
Billie K Fitz was a brave and dedicated man. He served the United States military through two wars, WWII and the Korean War. He made sure to be a strong part of his community, serving as a part of the Oceana EDC board, as an organizing member of the National Asparagus Festival Committee, as a member of the Muskegon-Oceana Chapter of the American Red Cross, a member of the Hart-Silver Lake Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Community Foundation of Oceana County Board of Directors, a member of the Hart Rotary Club, served as a President of Mid Michigan Banking Group, as a chairman and Executive member of Michigan Bankers Association, a member of the Masonic Order Blue Lodge AF + AM Scottish Rites, a member of York Rites and Shriner, an active member of VFW Post #1329 in Hart as well as American Legion Post #93 of Kenova,…
